Behind the Deck: Summer 2026 So Far
Hey, it’s Captain Mike. Stacy asked me to write something…
Hey, it’s Captain Mike. Stacy asked me to write something about how the summer’s been going so here we are. What can I say? Super hot out, blessed to work on the boat, the only fresh place to be.
We’ve had a great summer. Lots of booze cruises, a ton of bachelorette parties, some really fun birthday groups. Stacy, add the summer pictures here when you do the post, you know the ones.
So apparently we got a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for 2025. Found out about it last week haha. Look, some very kind generous people out there have been leaving us 5-star reviews and guys… thank you. Like really. It means so much. When something like this shows up it just feels really good, even if 2025 is long gone and we’re deep into 2026 already. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you guys. You should know we actually read every single review. So if you wrote us something and you’ve already flown back home to Atlanta, Nashville, New York, wherever you came from, just know that somewhere here in Charleston a bunch of sentimental softies are sitting around going “aww” over every nice word you left us.
What else. Maybe it would be fun to share one of our booze cruise playlists here. Send us your favorite party songs too. I would actually like to know what you think belongs on the boat. (I am currently working on getting Captain Mike to finally send me the playlist. Progress is slow, but I remain hopeful.)
Fourth of July was a really good time. We had holiday cruises going all day, groups were great, everyone showed up dressed head to toe in American flag outfits which was such a good call. Really fun weekend.
Also Stacy rebuilt our corporate page this summer. Some great groups came on board, left us really good feedback, and she used that to redo the whole thing. She asked me to mention it so go check it out, it looks good.
And then this weekend Charleston decided to throw a real storm at us. Forecast said light rain. It was not light rain. We stayed docked, right call, and I ended up just sitting there going through photos and videos from the whole summer which was actually a pretty good way to spend a stormy afternoon. Lot of good parties, lot of good people this season.
Storm’s supposed to clear by Thursday so we’ll see you Friday.
